Territorial Defense Forces Exercise to Be Held in Cherven and Biarazino Districts

A command-and-staff exercise of the territorial defense forces is being held in the Cherven and Biarazino districts on September 14-16. According to the Defense Ministry, it concludes a training camp that began earlier. The exercise will be led by a deputy chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.

“The aim of the exercise is to improve officers’ skills in commanding subordinate territorial defense forces, as well as to train personnel to act in a coordinated manner when carrying out their assigned tasks,” the statement said.

Attention will also be paid to cooperation with internal affairs agencies and internal troops, as well as people’s militia units.
