Polish border guards seized a BMW at the Terespol border crossing that was wanted in Germany. The driver was a German citizen attempting to enter Poland from Belarus.
During an inspection, border guards established that the 2024 BMW M440i had been reported stolen in Germany. The car is valued at 220,000 zlotys ($55,800), the Polish Border Guard reports.
A preliminary investigation has been launched. The driver and the vehicle were handed over to police in Terespol for further action.
