State Military-Industrial Committee Unveils Drone Protection for Grad Multiple Rocket Launchers

JSC 2566 Radioelectronic Weapons Repair Plant has developed a modular protection kit for BM-21B combat vehicles designed to defend them against FPV drones.

The protection system can be installed by the crew. The manufacturer claims the kit can protect against dropped RGD-5 and F-1 grenades and VOG-17 grenades, the State Military-Industrial Committee reported.

The kit consists of three functional modules:

• cab protection;
• protection for ammunition racks;
• protection for the artillery section.

Each module includes protective mesh screens and shields.
