State Control Committee Shuts Down Brest Shopping Pavilion for Selling Clothing Without Documentation

The State Control Committee has suspended operations at a shopping pavilion in Brest that was operating under the guise of a clearance sale.

The pavilion was selling clothing, footwear, knitted underwear and leather goods without labels or documents confirming their quality and safety.

The committee also found that the outlet did not stock goods required to be available for sale and lacked price tags and other mandatory product information.

Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the retailer.
