Stadler urban electric trains have resumed service between Minsk and Rudziensk. Belarusian Railways returned them to the route on May 19 “following the completion of scheduled maintenance work.”
Four pairs of urban line trains will operate on the Minsk–Rudziensk route. From May 19, two additional pairs of trains were also introduced on the Minsk–Belarus route.
“Belarusian Railways will continue taking measures to further deploy the available multiple-unit rolling stock of this series to operate urban line services on socially significant routes, including those connecting the Belarusian capital with satellite towns,” the press service of Belarusian Railways reported.
