Russia Reports Attacks on Two of Its Oil Refineries

On October 14, Ukraine attacked two Russian oil refineries, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said.

According to Novak, the refineries in the Saratov and Ryazan regions were targeted by drone attacks, TASS reports.

Ukraine has not officially reported any strikes.

On October 11, Donald Trump announced an “energy truce” between Russia and Ukraine. Kyiv refrained from striking Russian oil refineries for several days, while Russia continued to attack Ukrainian energy facilities. Ukraine has repeatedly stated that it is ready to stop striking Russian oil refineries if Moscow halts its attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
