Russia Launches Nearly 360 Missiles and Drones at Ukraine

Russia launched 358 missiles and drones at Ukraine as part of a large-scale attack on Friday, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. The main targets were Kyiv Region and Lviv Region.

In total, Russia deployed 284 drones and 74 missiles, including 61 Kh-101 cruise missiles, four Tsirkon missiles and nine Iskander-M/S-400/KN-23 ballistic missiles.

Ukrainian air defences intercepted 265 drones and 55 missiles, including one ballistic missile and 54 Kh-101 cruise missiles.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 11 missiles and 17 drones struck targets at 20 locations. The status of another eight missiles is still being clarified.

During the overnight attack, an unidentified object entered Polish airspace. An F-16 fighter jet was scrambled to intercept it, but the object disappeared from radar before the pilot could establish visual contact. Later, a 10-metre crater and fragments of an unidentified object were discovered in Lublin Voivodeship.
