During the night of Aug. 9, Russia launched a massive strike on Odesa and the Odesa region. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia launched ballistic, anti-ship and anti-radiation missiles: Iskander-M/S-400, Oniks and Kh-31P, as well as 202 attack drones.
At least eight people were injured in Odesa. Three of them are in moderate condition, the Odesa City Military Administration reports.
Several residential buildings were destroyed in the city and cars were damaged. The port was also damaged.
Other cities were also targeted. In Kharkiv, a drone destroyed four floors of a residential building. Two people were killed and dozens were injured.
In Pavlohrad, energy infrastructure facilities and a shopping center were damaged. Nine people were injured, including four children.
