Russia Bans Imports from One Belarusian Company

Russia has temporarily restricted imports from the KOSKRO company. Listeria was detected again in a duck carcass. The ban takes effect on August 30, Rosselkhoznadzor reports.

Rosselkhoznadzor is also introducing enhanced laboratory monitoring for three companies:

• Bobruisk Meat Processing Plant OJSC — due to coliform bacteria detected in beef,
• Luninets Dairy Plant OJSC — due to coliform bacteria detected in milk powder,
• Morskaya Gavan LLC — due to Listeria detected in fish products.
