Russia Attacks Kyiv’s Northern Bridge Again

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 135 strike drones overnight. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 125 aerial targets were shot down or suppressed.

The attack began at around 18:00 on October 3. Russia launched 135 drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Banderoль/Dan-T and Parodiya decoy drones, among them 52 jet-powered UAVs.

As of 08:30, Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed 123 drones and two Banderol/Dan-T drones. Hits were recorded at five locations, while debris from downed targets was found at five other sites.

In Dnipro, Russian forces struck the city center overnight. A fire broke out, and information about casualties is being clarified. According to Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha, a telecommunications company facility was damaged, and emergency services are working at the scene. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian drones attacked the Nikopol, Pavlohrad and Kryvyi Rih districts more than ten times. A minibus and an enterprise were damaged, and fires broke out.

In Sumy, guided aerial bombs struck the Zarechnyi district at around 07:50. According to acting Sumy mayor Artem Kobzar, apartment buildings and cars were damaged. Information about casualties is being clarified.

In Kyiv, a fire broke out on the roof of an unoccupied four-story building under construction as a result of Russian shelling on October 3. The fire was extinguished, with no deaths or injuries reported, the State Emergency Service press service reported.

According to local social media channels, Russian drones attacked Kyiv’s Northern Bridge again.

Earlier, Russian forces also attacked the Northern Bridge. The strike damaged the road surface and the trolleybus overhead contact network. Traffic from the left bank to the right bank was temporarily blocked. In addition, on October 1 and 2, Russian drones attacked Kyiv’s Southern Bridge. The strikes damaged the road surface, the metro fencing and other structural elements.
