Putin Aide Threatens to Destroy Poland Within 2-3 Days in Event of Conflict

Russian presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev made a series of harsh statements about Poland. He said that in the event of a military conflict, Russia would be able to destroy its adversary within two to three days.

“If Poland enters into military action against Russia, our country will use the full arsenal of forces and means at its disposal, and the Polish state will cease to exist within two to three days,” he said in an interview with aif.ru.

“The head of Polish diplomacy is clearly assessing our country’s military capabilities in an amateurish manner, unwilling to understand that during the special military operation, the Russian armed forces are by no means using their full potential,” he added.

It should be recalled that in its war against Ukraine, which has now entered its fifth year, Russia has so far failed to fully capture Donetsk region.

Patrushev’s remarks were prompted by comments from Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, who visited Kyiv in recent days. Sikorski spoke, among other things, about the military potential of European NATO countries. He said that the air forces of European countries, even without US involvement, could destroy half of Russia’s oil refineries faster than Ukraine could.

Patrushev also stressed that the Polish minister does not want to hear the Russian president.

“Obsessed with militarism, Sikorski does not want to hear the words of the Russian president that Russia threatens no one and that our country has no grounds to conduct military operations against Europe,” he said.
