The Prosecutor General’s Office wants to introduce financial monitoring for government officials. Prosecutor General Dzmitry Hora said this in the National Assembly.
“The main efforts are aimed at ensuring effective control over the financial position of officials and combating their illicit enrichment.
At present, at the initiative of the House of Representatives, work is underway to amend the rules on declaring income and assets. The possibility of abolishing the annual submission of declarations is being considered. Instead, an authorized state body would be required to monitor the financial position of government officials,” the prosecutor general said.
