The press service of Alyaksandr Lukashenka has published a video showing fragments of the official welcoming ceremony with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The event took place today in Pyongyang.
In addition to the customary honor guard, Kim Jong Un greeted Lukashenka with a salute in the presence of a large crowd, each of whom had been given flags of the two countries. A 21-gun salute was fired in Lukashenka’s honor.
Lukashenka’s visit to North Korea began this morning. Upon arrival, he visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, where he paid tribute to the country’s leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
After the welcoming ceremony, Lukashenka, in the presence of Kim Jong Un, laid a wreath at the Liberation Monument.
