Pistols And A Grenade Seized From Resident Of Pukhavichy District

Belarus’s Interior Ministry reported the seizure of an arsenal of weapons from a 50-year-old resident of Pukhavichy District. The man had previously been convicted of hooliganism and theft.

Police seized three pistols of unidentified models, a Soviet-era RGD-5 grenade, three smoke grenades, a jar of gunpowder, a single-barrel shotgun and a sawed-off double-barrel shotgun, more than 400 rounds of ammunition, over 20 detonator caps, as well as component parts for various weapons.

The man has been detained. His actions will be given a legal assessment. Police are establishing the sources from which the weapons were obtained.
