Number of People Employed in Belarusian Economy Rises by 8,900 in August

In August, 4.1914 million people were employed in Belarus’s economy, an increase of 8,900 compared with July. Employment in the country edged down in July after rising in June.

Employment also increased in August last year. Compared with August 2025, the number of people employed in the economy rose by 35,200.

Compared with December 2019, the number of people employed in the economy decreased by 143,600. At that time, 4.335 million people were employed in the economy.
