The Novokuibyshevsk refinery has been hit by drones, according to Ukrainian monitoring channels.
Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev has so far only confirmed a drone attack, without specifying its consequences.
Meanwhile, local residents are posting photographs and videos of a fire online. Based on these materials, Ukrainian monitoring channels have concluded that the Novokuibyshevsk refinery is on fire. The facility is part of the Rosneft group. Its processing capacity is 8.8 million tonnes of oil per year.
