National Bank To Issue Slavyanka Gold Coin

The National Bank of Belarus will put into circulation the 2026 Slavyanka gold investment coin on Oct. 20.

The coin has a face value of 100 rubles, a fineness of 999.9, a weight of 15.55 grams and a diameter of 27.9 mm. The mintage will be 1,000 pieces. The coin was minted at the Kristall plant in Homiel. The National Bank said it would provide additional information on the date when the coin goes on sale.

On the same day, two coins from the “Belarusian National Costume” series dedicated to the “Staradarozhski Stroy” will enter circulation. The silver coin has a face value of 20 rubles, a weight of 33.63 grams, a fineness of 925 and a mintage of 3,000 pieces. The copper-nickel coin, with a face value of 1 ruble, weighs 30 grams, has a diameter of 50 mm and will also have a mintage of 5,000 pieces.

In addition, six bimetallic commemorative coins from the “History of Belarusian Mechanical Engineering” series will go on sale at the National Bank’s cash offices on Oct. 8: “Truck,” “Combine Harvester,” “Dump Truck,” “Tractor,” “Trolleybus” and “Tractor Unit.” A set of six coins in blister packaging will cost 75 rubles. When purchased individually, one coin will cost 14 rubles. They will be available at the National Bank’s cash offices at 6 Tolstoy Street in Minsk.

Last year, the National Bank issued two Slavyanka coins: one with a face value of 50 rubles and the other with a face value of 100 rubles.

In April this year, the National Bank of Belarus put into circulation the 2026 Slavyanka investment coin with a face value of 50 rubles, made of gold, and in June, a silver coin with a face value of 20 rubles.
