The National Bank has adopted Resolution No. 219 of October 23, “On Remuneration in Banks and Non-Bank Credit and Financial Institutions.” It will enter into force on January 1, 2027, replacing Resolution No. 524 of September 11, 2013, “On Certain Remuneration Issues.”
According to the regulator’s press service, the document improves the rules governing remuneration in banks and non-bank credit and financial institutions, annual bonus payments, and the completeness of information disclosed on remuneration.
“Resolution No. 219, in particular, establishes rules that take into account established practices, clarifies the reporting form for remuneration indicators that banks submit to the National Bank on a monthly basis, changes the procedure for paying remuneration to bank executives based on the results of the reporting year, or annual bonuses, and specifies certain provisions to ensure they are interpreted unambiguously,” the statement said.
The details of the resolution have not been disclosed. It has not yet been officially published.
