Poland’s Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has published data on insured foreign nationals as of the end of February 2026. The number of Belarusians increased compared to January.
As of the end of February, 139,312 Belarusian citizens were registered in Poland’s social insurance system. Compared to January, the number rose by 682 people.
In total, 1.295 million foreigners were registered with ZUS at the end of February. The overall number of insured foreign nationals increased by more than 9,000 compared to January.
Ukrainian citizens remain the largest group of foreigners working in Poland. Nearly 865,200 were registered with ZUS (+8,800 compared to January). Belarusians rank second. Indian citizens are third, with nearly 25,000 people.
