Monetary Policy Targets for 2027 Approved

Aliaksandr Lukashenka has approved monetary policy targets for 2027 by decree.

“The document was adopted to create conditions for sustainable economic growth,” Lukashenka’s press service reports.

The decree sets the following targets:

• consumer price growth — no more than 6%;
• international reserve assets — at least $12.8 billion;
• the share of non-performing assets in banks’ assets exposed to credit risk — no more than 10%;
• growth in the volume of investment financing — at least 13%.
