Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has two new advisers. According to Tsikhanouskaya’s Office, Yuliya Mitskevich has been appointed adviser on equality and inclusion.
She will advise the Office on these issues, as well as on combating discrimination and violence, contribute to the development of positions for the democratic forces, and help prepare draft reforms. Yuliya Mitskevich will work with Belarusian and international partners to promote women’s political leadership.
Mitskevich previously served as first deputy representative of the United Transitional Cabinet for social policy. She is one of the founders of FemGroup Belarus.
Stanislau Salavey has been appointed Tsikhanouskaya’s adviser on healthcare. He will advise the Office on healthcare matters, help prepare policy positions, analytical materials and public comments. His responsibilities will also include cooperation with Belarusian and international partners and the preparation of reforms.
Salavey also served as deputy representative of the United Transitional Cabinet for social policy.
Today, the United Transitional Cabinet appointed a new representative for social policy. The position went to Veranika Stankevich.
