Aliaksandr Lukashenka said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is expected in Belarus in early October.
“We have a number of events specifically relevant to Mikhail Mishustin. You should definitely come,” he said.
During this period, Minsk is scheduled to host meetings of the Council of Ministers of the Union State and the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. In addition, the 2nd International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Belarus” will be held in the Belarusian capital.
Lukashenka also mentioned his recent meeting with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, which took place in Minsk.
“We had a substantive meeting. It concerned not only industry, but we also talked extensively about the economies of our countries. We confirmed our joint projects in both aircraft manufacturing and the military-industrial complex. We reached full mutual understanding on all issues,” he said.
