Minsk Region spent more than 110 million rubles preparing for the regional “Dazhynki” festival in Dziarzhynsk. The figure was given by Minsk Region Executive Committee Chairman Aliaksei Kushnarenka.
“Dazhynki is not just a celebration for agricultural workers, but also a huge investment in the city and the district. The total amount of investment here exceeded 110 million rubles. And we raised these funds together. This includes money from the regional and district budgets, as well as from organizations, enterprises and institutions. All of this is primarily aimed at addressing many infrastructure problems and issues that existed in the city and the district. In particular, landscaping, replacement of utility networks, construction of roads, bicycle lanes and sidewalks, as well as the repair and reconstruction of buildings and structures. I am sure this will undoubtedly improve the quality of life for local residents. I would also like to note and thank the patrons, sponsors and philanthropists who provided a significant portion of the funds to invite a Russian pop star, as well as to produce the commemorative sign ‘Name and Woman,’ which we will unveil as part of the event. It is also symbolic that we will do this in the Year of the Belarusian Woman,” he said.
“Dazhynki” will take place in Dziarzhynsk on Sept. 19. Stas Kostyushkin will perform at the event.
