The Minsk Metro will change its train schedule on September 12 due to events marking Minsk City Day.
From 9:00 to 00:00, the interval between trains on the first, Maskouskaya, line and the second, Autazavodskaya, line will be four minutes. On the third, Zialenaluzhskaya, line, trains will run at seven-minute intervals.
The shorter intervals are needed to provide transportation for passengers during the celebrations taking place on September 12 and 13, the metro explained.
Passengers are also asked to purchase tokens and travel tickets in advance. Fares can be paid by contactless bank card or via the “Oplati” mobile service.
