Minsk Airport Introduces Chinese AI Technology In Security Operations

Minsk Airport is introducing Chinese artificial intelligence technology into its security operations. According to the airport’s press service, airport head Uladzimir Charaukhin met with Yang Bo, Nuctech Company Limited’s general manager for Asia and the CIS.

“The sides discussed prospects for using artificial intelligence technologies in screening equipment and introducing the Chinese company’s advanced developments in aviation security. They also reviewed current partnership issues, including progress on previously reached agreements,” the press service said.

They also inspected two screening systems supplied by Nuctech in 2024.

Particular attention was paid to the ICAO Aviation Security Training Center, a structural unit of Minsk National Airport. The parties discussed its further development and the installation of modern simulators for training specialists to operate screening equipment.
