The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has approved a list of occupations and civil service positions for which foreign nationals can be hired in 2027 without restrictions aimed at protecting the national labour market. The Ministry of Labour’s Resolution No. 80, dated October 1, was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal. It will enter into force on January 1, 2027.
The list now includes 31 skilled-worker occupations and 16 civil service positions. Compared with the 2026 list, it contains two more skilled-worker occupations and two fewer civil service positions.

It should be noted that the 2026 list already included the occupation of agricultural machinery operator, but the simpler occupation of tractor driver has now also been added for next year. The occupation of railway track maintenance worker has been removed from the list.
Midwives and feldshers have been removed from the list of civil service positions.
In 2027, foreign nationals will be eligible for unrestricted hiring, with regard to national labour market protection requirements, for jobs including drivers, workers in various agricultural and construction occupations, sales assistants, cooks, mechanics, seamstresses and others. The list also includes agronomists, engineers, veterinary and medical workers, among others.
