Ministry of Agriculture Approves Criteria for Obtaining Agricultural Machinery Purchased with Budget Funds

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food, by Resolution No. 83 of October 6, has established criteria for compiling lists of enterprises eligible to receive agricultural machinery purchased with budget funds. The resolution was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and enters into force upon publication.

Farms must have:

• qualified machinery operators or a contract for engaging such personnel,
• facilities for equipment maintenance or a contract with an external organisation to provide these services,
• designated areas (premises, shelters or sites) for storing agricultural machinery.

Another criterion concerns the workload of the machinery to be supplied:

• more than 700 hectares of arable land per high-powered tractor,
• more than 640 hectares of arable land per combine harvester,
• more than 1,460 hectares of arable land per forage harvester.
