Two people were injured in a road accident involving a route minibus in Vileyka district of Minsk region. The crash occurred today at around 7 p.m. on the R-58 Minsk–Kalachi–Miadzel highway.
The 69-year-old driver of a Mercedes minibus hit a tree that had fallen onto the roadway, after which the vehicle ran off the road into a ditch. There were 12 people inside the minibus. The driver and a 53-year-old female passenger were hospitalized.
Traffic police officers and an investigative task force are working at the scene, the Interior Ministry’s press service said.
