A meeting was held at the Minsk City Executive Committee to discuss the construction of new stations on the Zelenaluzhskaya metro line. Vasil Kasavets, director general of Minskmetrostroy, spoke about the progress of the work, Minsk News reports.
Two tunnel boring machines, “Alesya” and “Mariya,” are being used to build the tunnels. The “Alesya” machine is almost at the Belarus Hotel. It is currently under the intersection of Masherau Avenue and Starazhouskaya Street, where the tram tracks turn. “Mariya” is approaching the “Kamarouskaya” station under M. Bahdanovich Street. About 150 meters remain to the station itself.
Minskmetrostroy has already received the rails and is preparing to begin laying them in the tunnels. The work will proceed from Park Druzhby Narodau station toward Kamarouskaya.
In November 2026, traffic patterns are planned to be changed around the Park Druzhby Narodau area for all vehicles.
