A Tu-95 military aircraft crashed in Russia’s Amur Region on September 29. Seven crew members were on board. Six were killed and one was hospitalized, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“On September 29, a Tu-95 aircraft crashed in the Amur Region while conducting a training flight. The aircraft went down in an uninhabited area. According to preliminary information, six crew members were killed, and one was injured and evacuated to a medical facility,” the ministry said in a statement.
The aircraft was reportedly flying without ammunition.
