Today, 22 December, the Belarusian community will be able to pray together for the repose of journalist Mikita Melkaziorau. The service will be led by Aliaksandr Kukhta, who knew the Belarusian blogger personally and was his friend.
The memorial service will take place at the Belarusian Church in Vilnius (Bokšto g. 4).
The service begins at 19:00 Vilnius time.
For those who are in other cities or in Belarus, a live broadcast will be organised on the YouTube channel of the Belarusian Orthodox parish in Vilnius. This will allow everyone, regardless of location, to pay tribute to Mikita’s memory.
The Belarusian journalist, blogger and host of the projects “Zhytsyo-Malina” and “Zagliane Sontsa” passed away suddenly on 21 December.
