MAZ to Supply 247 Ambulances to Nicaragua

MAZ has signed a contract to supply 247 Kupava ambulances to Nicaragua.

The document was signed by the company’s Director General, Valery Ivankovich, and Laureano Ortega Murillo, Minister-Advisor to the Co-Presidents on Investment, Trade and International Cooperation.

“The contract was secured thanks to credit lines allocated for the supply of equipment to Nicaragua,” the statement said.

It should be noted that the credit lines are provided by Belarus’ Development Bank.

The day before, Laureano Ortega Murillo met with Aliaksandr Yahorau, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Belarus.

“On the condition that financing is provided by Belarus, we will uphold the exclusive rights of Belarusian companies,” the Nicaraguan official said.
