"Казка" Якуба Станкевіча
Documentary films created with the participation of Belsat TV will be shown on the big screen in various Polish cities this autumn.
At the European Film Festival “Integracja Ty i Ja” (Sept. 8-12), “Inga” by Krzysztof Kopczyński will be screened — the story of a girl who flees the war in Ukraine with her blind parents and begins a new life in Warsaw.
“Fairy Tale” by Jakub Stankiewicz — a mystical story about a Belarusian artist from Podlasie — can be seen on Sept. 17-20 at the 40th International Catholic Film and Multimedia Festival “Niepokalana.” The film tells the story of an artist who tries to express his pain through art.
“Dwiż” by Aliaksandr Haradko — a film about 70,000 Belarusians, Ukrainians and Russians traveling to Max Korzh’s concert in Warsaw — will be shown at the 36th Człowiek w Zagrożeniu Media Festival in Łódź (Oct. 14-18) and the 21st Szczecin Film Festival (Oct. 16-18). “Dwiż” explores the subculture created by Korzh: distance from politics, no national divisions, and living in the here and now. Polish media covered the chaos and fights during the concert. The film asks why they went there.
