MART Reports Sales Volumes Of Belarusian Goods Purchased With Preferential Loans

In Belarus, 1.3 billion rubles in “Na Rodnyya Tovary” loans had been issued as of early September. More than 300,000 loan agreements have been signed in total. The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) said this, SB.by reports.

“Na Rodnyya Tovary” loans have been available since early 2024 for the purchase of certain Belarusian goods at an interest rate of just 4% per year.

According to MART, the following goods were sold under the program this year:

• more than 79,000 pieces of furniture,
• more than 19,300 wooden windows and doors,
• 8,500 units of ceramic tiles,
• more than 5,000 gas or electric stoves and dishwashers,
• 3,800 refrigerators and freezers,
• 3,000 units of sanitary equipment,
• nearly 3,000 metal doors,
• nearly 2,300 walk-behind tractors,
• nearly 2,100 motorcycles and motor scooters,
• more than 2,000 house kits,
• about 2,000 bicycles and mopeds,
• nearly 1,500 washing machines,
• 117 vouchers for stays at health resorts.
