Man Trapped in 10-Metre Well in Brest

A man became trapped in a drinking water well about 10 metres deep in Brest. The incident occurred today on the premises of a private household on Prokhodnaya Street.

He had descended into the well to clean it but was unable to get out on his own. Emergency workers who arrived at the scene used special equipment to lift the man to the surface and handed him over to medical personnel. He did not require hospitalisation, the agency’s press service reported.
