A man died while harvesting potatoes in Voranava District, TRK Hrodna reports. The tragedy occurred near the agricultural town of Bieniakoni.
The man had come to help acquaintances harvest potatoes using a combine harvester. During the unloading of the potatoes into a tractor trailer, the combine’s hopper failed to open. The man attempted to fix it manually by pulling a lever. At that moment, his clothing became caught in rotating gears.
He sustained severe injuries that proved fatal.
