The State Control Committee says a Mahiliou producer of drinking and mineral water sold its products at an inflated price “not supported by economic calculations.”
The company also increased its selling price without approval from the regional executive committee.
“Over a year and a half (from November 2023 to July 2025), products worth 1 million rubles were sold at an inflated price. The buyers included state institutions, including school catering facilities and sports schools”, the State Control Committee reports.
The company was fined 32,000 rubles. After the inspection, water prices were reduced. Those responsible were subject to disciplinary action.
