Lukashenka Says His Youngest Son Is Serving In The Army

Aliaksandr Lukashenka said that his youngest son Mikalai is serving in the military, BelTA reports. He said this while speaking to the press in the Baranavichy District of the Brest Region, where Lukashenka visited the Obuz-Liasnouski combined-arms training ground.

According to Lukashenka, Mikalai was drafted into the army by Defense Minister Viktar Khrenin.

“My youngest son is already serving in the army. Nobody even knew. Viktor drafted him. He is serving in the army as he should, like everyone else. A lieutenant. I won’t say where, but in the most difficult unit”, he said.

Lukashenka also said that in his free time from military service, Mikalai continues to study biotechnology, the main field in which he received his university education.
