Alyaksandr Lukashenka has signed a decree awarding the Belarusian Sports Olympus Prize for 2025.
According to his press service, the prize was awarded to:
The chair of the central council of the Republican State Public Association Presidential Sports Club is Lukashenka’s second son, Dzmitry Lukashenka. The club’s council also includes his eldest son, Viktar Lukashenka.
The club received the award for a significant contribution to the development of physical culture and sports, the implementation of numerous comprehensive programs to improve the material and technical base of sports schools and neighborhood-level sports infrastructure, as well as for organizing large-scale sports projects and competitions.
Ivan Litvinovich was awarded the prize for his sporting achievements. This year he became a gold medalist and silver medalist of the III CIS Games 2025. He also has medals from the Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cups, and European Championships.
Spartak Miranovich is an Honored Coach of the USSR and the BSSR. He headed the national men’s handball team and led the USSR team to victory at the Olympic Games. The Belarusian club SKA Minsk under his leadership won European and other international tournaments.
