Lukashenka Asks To Visit “Collective Farm” Overseen By Siarheenka

Chairman of the House of Representatives Ihar Siarheenka is responsible for an agricultural enterprise in the Vitsyebsk region. During today’s report by Aliaksandr Lukashenka, he asked to visit the farm.

“You are working a lot with Natallia Kachanava on the Vitsyebsk region. I have been informed that you have a collective farm, you are responsible for it, and so is she. That is very good. Whether you provide financial assistance or not is not the main issue. But the fact that you see the problem and can promptly adjust and regulate what needs to be done — that is definitely important. This experience is interesting to me. Invite me, I would be happy to visit the farm you oversee”, he said.

Lukashenka also discussed the work of the House of Representatives. In his assessment, the MPs are working along established lines.

“As I see it, parliament is generally working well. The House of Representatives is doing its job. I understand that the House as a whole, as well as the MPs, are working along established lines. I do not see any particular concerns. As a former MP, I understand that things are proceeding calmly and well. Legislative work is hard work. It does not tolerate any kind of bursts. Our parliament is doing its job. That is my point of view, my impression”, he said.

Siarheenka reported that during the third session, the House of Representatives adopted 89 bills, 11 of them in the first reading. Work was fully completed on 78 bills, which became laws.
