A Lithuanian national attempted to take a stolen Audi Q8 worth about 355,000 zlotys ($94,000) from Poland to Belarus, the Polish Border Guard reported.
The 58-year-old Lithuanian was leaving Poland through the Kuźnica border crossing. During an inspection, officers found that the vehicle was listed in the Schengen Information System as stolen in Poland.
The driver was detained, and the 2023 vehicle was seized. The case materials were handed over to police for further investigation.
