Lithuania Expels Three Ukrainians for Working for Intelligence Services of “Hostile Countries”

Lithuania has declared three Ukrainian citizens a security threat and expelled them from the country.

Lithuania’s State Security Department (VSD) says the Ukrainians carried out assignments for the intelligence services of hostile countries.

“The individuals in question performed a wide range of tasks for financial reward, receiving instructions from hostile intelligence services via Telegram and other messaging and communication platforms,” the VSD said.

The Ukrainians’ temporary residence permits in Lithuania have been revoked. They were expelled from Lithuania and banned from entering the country for five years.
