The Lenin Square metro station in Minsk has been closed due to an unattended object.
Metro employees discovered an object resembling a power bank and called the police.
A protective dome was installed to ensure passenger safety.
A forensic investigation team and bomb disposal experts are working at the scene. It is being established who left the object and for what purpose, the Minsk City Police Department reports.
The suspicious object was examined and removed and does not pose a danger. Service has been restored. The investigation is ongoing.
