Latvia is beginning work to strengthen its border with Belarus and Russia. The state-owned real estate management company has selected contractors. Contracts are expected to be signed by early June, with construction work scheduled to begin in the summer, reports Delfi.
The work includes the construction of storage sites for counter-mobility assets, as well as the creation of anti-tank ditches and the supply of counter-mobility equipment.
Total funding amounts to nearly €13 million.
