Latvia and Estonia issued air raid alerts overnight.
In Latvia, the alert was issued twice, first at around 2 a.m. in Ludza Municipality and then at around 4 a.m. in Alūksne Municipality.
As LSM reports, citing the National Armed Forces, a drone entered Latvian airspace and then proceeded into Estonia.
In Estonia, an air raid alert was issued in eight counties. According to ERR, drones were moving along Estonia’s and Latvia’s eastern border, and some of them entered Estonian airspace.
In both countries, fighter jets from NATO countries participating in Baltic airspace patrols were scrambled.
It should be noted that today Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko said several dozen drones had been downed in the region. At the same time, he said the drone attack caused damage in the port area of Ust-Luga, where a fire broke out.
