Investment in Fixed Capital Fell by 12 Percent in January

Investment in fixed capital in January amounted to 3.135 billion roubles. This was down 12 percent compared with January 2025. The decline compared with December was 57.7 percent. By comparison, last year began with investment growth of 20.7 percent.

In January, 1.45 billion roubles were allocated to construction and installation works, which is 11 percent less than a year earlier.

Purchases of machinery, equipment and transport vehicles fell by 15.1 percent to 1.19 billion roubles.
