Investigative Committee Headed by Kanstantsin Bychak

Alyaksandr Lukashenka today carried out reshuffles in the security agencies. The head of the KGB Investigative Directorate, Kanstantsin Bychak, has been appointed chairman of the Investigative Committee, Lukashenka’s press service reported.

While working at the KGB, Bychek was featured in numerous propaganda films about criminal cases against Lukashenka’s political opponents.

Earlier, Lukashenka appointed the head of the Investigative Committee, Dzmitry Hora, as Prosecutor General. He replaced Andrei Shved, who was appointed chairman of the Supreme Court last week.
