Instagram Account of Belarusian Choir in Poznań Declared “Extremist” in Belarus

Belarus’s Ministry of Information has once again updated the “Republican List of Extremist Materials.” Among other items, the list now includes the Instagram account of a choir of Belarusians from Poznań. The ruling was issued by the court of the Zhabinka District in the Brest Region on October 14.

The list also includes:

• the  “Сергей Спариш” (“Sergey Sparish”) account on Odnoklassniki;
• the “Jednaść2025” Telegram channel.

It should be noted that extremism charges are used in Belarus to persecute opponents of Lukashenka and suppress dissent more broadly.
