Medical and educational institutions in Minsk were “mined” today. The Minsk City Executive Committee’s Main Department of Internal Affairs said it had received electronic reports of explosive devices allegedly planted at the facilities. The reports were false.
“Bomb disposal and pyrotechnics teams arrived at the scene immediately. Specialists inspected the specified facilities and the surrounding areas. No dangerous objects or explosive devices were found”, the Main Department of Internal Affairs said.
Police are now trying to identify the senders of the messages.
