Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms. Forecasters Issue Orange Weather Warning for September 1

Belarusians can expect bad weather on Knowledge Day. Forecasters have issued an orange weather warning.

“On September 1 (Tuesday), thunderstorms are expected in many parts of the country during the day, with heavy rain in the southeast and southwesterly winds strengthening in the western half, with gusts of 15-20 m/s. A thunderstorm is expected in Minsk during the day on September 1 (Tuesday)”, the warning said.

Tomorrow, weather conditions in Belarus will be influenced by atmospheric fronts moving in from Western Europe. It will be cloudy with sunny intervals. Light fog is expected in some areas during the night and morning. The minimum temperature will be +13…+18°C at night, with daytime highs of +19…+25°C.
